The vast majority of homes for sale are going to be found on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Setting up a detailed search that matches your dream home is the first step in the search process. After our consultation with you, we will set you up with an MLS search and immediately start sending you homes that meet your criteria.
During the search process, we may need to fine tune your search parameters so it is important that we communicate with each other regularly.
When you receive an email from the MLS OneHome system, we need you to:
- Review all of the properties that we have sent to you that day. Mark as ❤️Favorites the properties you want to see. Properties you want to think about longer mark as 💡Maybe. Properties you definitely don’t like mark as 🗑️Reject. If you have any questions about a particular property, write those questions in the Comments field for that property in MLS. We monitor those sections and will get answers to those questions to you.
- If there’s something you love and want to see, shoot us a quick email or text so that we can set up a tour of homes. Remember, some homes may require 24-hour notice to show. Also, during the peak season, desirable properties can sell very quickly, so it’s important that you review the MLS email daily so that we can jump on a great property as soon as you see it.
- Once we know when your availability, we’ll set up the showings and email you the details of the tour.
- Remember to wear comfortable slip-on shoes for showings as we’ll generally need to take them off and on at each property.
At this point there should be no need for you to continue to look on other sites such as Zillow, Trulia, etc. as all of those properties should be showing up in your MLS feed. If one isn’t for some reason let us know so we can tweak the search parameters of your MLS feed.
