We’ve said this before, but it is worth repeating. This is the best market we’ve had since 2019 for people who want to buy and sell at the same time. For the past two years it was really tough for people who owned their home and wanted to sell and buy. Of course, we knew their home would sell, but what could they buy? For those wanting to buy first and then sell, financing that transition is usually the biggest concern for them. Windermere has a fabulous Bridge Loan program that we have had numerous Sellers use. Just in the past two months, we’ve had four clients buy first utilizing this loan program.
The pandemic changed a lot of things. Companies and people discovered that they can work from home quite well. With lots of places closed, people re-discovered our beautiful outdoors! During the pandemic Stephen and Katie found themselves spending more time on the east side and wanted to be closer to the mountains. They soon set their sights on Mirrormont, a lovely established neighborhood in Issaquah with a club house and pool. It took a little bit of time for the right home to come along. When it did, they were ready to jump in! We couldn’t be happier for them. This is a home that will work well for them for years and years to come.
