Can you imagine putting in a million dollar offer on a home that you hadnβt actually stepped foot in? As you can imagine, that requires a huge leap of faith. Now imagine doing that as a first time home buyer! Josh and Cassie were eager to get back to the Puget Sound area from Texas and didnβt want to postpone house hunting until they were here. They had recently lived in Seattle for a couple of years and were familiar with the area. Thanks to our virtual home tours via FaceTime, they were able to view several homes remotely, including a stunning view home in Des Moines with a protected, breathtaking view of Puget Sound. Enamored by the home and location, they quickly decided to write an offer. While Josh and Cassie loved the home through video chat, we were still a little nervous about their first viewing of the home in person. As anyone who has house hunted knows, homes often feel different in person than they do in photos. Luckily, Josh and Cassie loved the home even more when they flew up and saw it for the first time during their home inspection. Phew! We couldnβt be more excited for them. We know they will never tire of the view and that this home will serve their needs for many years to come.
