Congratulations to Our Seller in Broadview!
We’ve all heard the phrase; it takes a village. Well in real estate, it definitely takes a team. Having a good team in place can make the difference between leaping over a snafu hurdle and crossing the finish line or taking a tumble and not close on time. This was the case for our Sellers in Broadview. There was a last-minute work issue and one of the Buyers had to leave town the day before closing. Everyone jumped through hoops to make our closing date on November 14th. The Buyers’ loan docs were sent to her location in California to sign, then priority overnighted for her husband to sign the morning of closing. The lender funded the loan prior to having the loan docs signed and returned. Once the loan docs were returned and reviewed by the lender, the funds were released for the transaction to record. All of this was done with just an hour to spare!
Normally closing a day later isn’t a big deal. However, our Sellers are purchasing a home that closes on Monday, so their proceeds from the sale of this house needs to arrive in their escrow account by Monday. With their home successfully closed, they can now concentrate on the excitement of their new home purchase and not stress about whether their funds will arrive in time. Congrats to our Sellers and a huge THANK YOU to the team that made this happen on time!
