We are always honored when clients return to work with us again. Chris and Sarah came to us as young and eager first-time home buyers back in 2011. In fact, this sale is even more sentimental, because Chris and Sarah were the first joint clients that Steve and I worked with. They were the beginning of a lovely partnership between Steve and me.
Like a lot of people, the pandemic changed the work life and housing needs for Chris and Sarah. Work from home became a permanent option for Sarah. This meant that they were no longer tied to Seattle. They knew they wanted to stay within a 2-hour drive to the city, but that still left a lot of communities to explore and choose from. They spent about a year and a half checking out potential communities. During that time of exploration, they were also making small changes to their current home that would yield a big return on the investment. They concentrated on turning their kitchen into a cute space that had a distinct coastal vibe. As part of their preparation, they also had our home inspector come through the house last summer. While nothing major came up, this gave them plenty of time to tackle some of the small stuff that had come up. By the time their home hit the market it was parade ready and sold at full price with just 6 days of market time. Like all of our listings, we went straight to Pending and except for the Buyerβs Financing Contingency, all other contingencies were waived. This is how we roll!
