The townhouse market has been especially tough for Sellers since the market started to change. Townhouses are usually the first type of property to be affected when the market slows down. Ours Sellers got caught in that changing market. They had a lovely townhouse in Crown Hill with a great layout and surprising views of Puget Sound.
We knew that the right Buyer would come along and recognize what a fabulous unit and value the home was. The Sellers kept a great attitude throughout the entire process. While their home wasnβt selling as quickly as we all would have liked, they also never felt in the dark regarding what was happening with the local market and our marketing efforts. Our weekly updates kept them informed and never guessing. They were very pragmatic about the situation. They also recognized that the market they would be buying in was also changing in their favor.
As with all of our listings, this home went under contract with only the buyersβ financing contingency. The Buyers were thrilled because not only did they get a great unit, they also got two flat screen TVs and a really nice barbecue grill. We wish the new Buyers many happy years in their new home and we wish our Sellers happy house hunting in Austin!
