Inventory levels are starting to creep up in NW Seattle. We currently have 161 homes for sale, which is the highest it’s been since the end of December. For the past four weeks, Buyers have not kept up with new inventory coming on the market. This is to be expected. We are entering the peak months (May & June) of new inventory. More Buyers are entering the market and overall, the number of homes going under contract has also been rising.
Interest rates are still the biggest concern for Buyers. They’ve come down from their highs of 6.75% in early March and have been bouncing between 6.125% and 6.375% since mid-March.
Right now, the market feels pretty stable, which is good news for Buyers and Sellers!
