Happy (almost) New Year! This is our final market update of the year and week number 244 since we first started tracking stats weekly. As expected, the past two weeks have been very quiet. Most of the activity in the chart above is from the previous week. This past week was very slow with only 4 new listings in NW Seattle and 2 in SW Snohomish County. Personally, I am surprised that any new listings came on at all during the week of Christmas. We would have advised them to wait until at least mid-January to come on the market.
So, while it is crickets out there for real estate, we want to wish you all a very lovely New Year’s celebration! We will be back in your inbox on January 13th.
