NW Seattle & SW Snohomish Real Estate Market Update | March 11, 2024

The market continues to be strong for sellers in both NW Seattle and SW Snohomish County, with the vast majority of homes selling in under 10 days. More and more homes are selling above list price with multiple offers. In NW Seattle 44% of the closed homes in the past two weeks sold at an average of 108.2% of the list price. We saw similar results in SW Snohomish County with 52% of closed sales selling at an average of 107.2% of the list price.

Interest rates have been coming down for the past few weeks which is helping out our market. Conforming rates are down 3/8 point from two weeks ago and Jumbo rates are down 1/4.  Obviously this is welcome news for everyone! There is still talk of a Fed rate cut, but that is not expected for the next Fed meeting in March.
