Inventory rose by 35% in SW Snohomish County and by only 9% in NW Seattle. New listings are up in both markets, which is to be expected. May and June are typically our highest months of new listings.
Buyers seem to have taken a bit of a pause in SW Snohomish as the number of listing going under contract went down by 15%. Interestingly, contracts were up by 31% in NW Seattle.
Luckily for everyone, interest rates came down this past week by ¼ point. Interest rates had ticked up above 7%, but are now back in the 6s…phew!
