NW Seattle & SW Snohomish Real Estate Market Update | January 2, 2024

Hello 2024! What will you have in store for us? Most of the predictions that I’ve been hearing for 2024 are positive. We’re expecting the Fed to start cutting rates, which will bring Buyers back in the market. The increased Buyer activity will usually move hesitant Sellers off the fence and into the market as well.

2023 was definitely an interesting year in real estate across the region. Overall, our local markets did well despite the rise in interest rates. There were fewer Buyers in the market and fewer Sellers, which kept supply and demand in check. Once all the numbers are in for 2023, we’ll do a deeper dive and recap the year.

We’re excited for the New Year! As you know, Steve and I enjoy hosting and sponsoring classes that we think people will appreciate. We have a lineup of in person classes that include our Home Selling Seminar, a Home Buying Seminar which is new for us this year, Downsizing Seminar, Reverse Mortgage, Cyber Security, and a series on Healthy Aging. Please watch our newsletter for these upcoming events.

Speaking of events, there is still time to participate in our Annual Food Drive! Pick up is this Saturday. Please see the information below and if you have a bit to spare, please email Sandra at sbrenner@windermere.com to get put on the pick-up list.

And as always, if you have any additional real estate questions, feel free to call/text us any time! We’re always here to help!
