Looking for something fun to do on Thanksgiving morning? Check out Seattle Turkey Trot
This awesome event will take away any guilt you may have for pigging out later on Thanksgiving Day.
So, the Turkey Trot is in its 13th year. This 5K run, walk, or trot starts at 32nd Avenue Northwest and Northwest 85th Street, so right by Caffe Fiore, which, in my humble opinion, has the best coffee in Seattle. The route takes you south through Sunset Hill and ends at Golden Gardens. This is a super fun family-friendly and dog-friendly event.
-All proceeds from this fun event will go to the Ballard Food Bank. Adult registration fee is $40 and kids 10 and under are $20. You may not realize this, but on average, food banks can provide three meals for every dollar they receive, which is pretty amazing. The event is anticipating about 4,500 participants, so, as you can see, this even will go a long way in helping feed our neighbors. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
