This home is located in one of the largest neighborhoods in north Seattle, Northgate. Northgate can be divided into four smaller sections: Haller Lake, where this home is situated, Pinehurst, Maple Leaf and Licton Springs. An important feature of this area will be the completion of of Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail station at Northgate in late 2021. This extensive light rail system is poised to connect Tacoma, Seattle, Everett and the Greater Eastside. Much of Northgate Mall will soon be redeveloped into mixed office space, retail, and the headquarters for the new Seattle Kraken ice hockey team.
Just a short drive from this home is popular Northacres Park, this park is surrounded with a forest of fir and contains a small forest behind picnic area. This gentle 2.2 mile trail winds its way through the native shrubs and old growth conifers that surround the Jackson Park Golf Course. Only a short section of the mostly flat gravel trail is wheelchair accessible, and there are two short, steep climbs along the way.
