A few words from the homeowner
Let there be light. Large windows bring in so much light, even on the gloomiest of Seattle days. And for those brilliant summer days, enjoy top-down, bottom-up shades, including blackout shades in the guest bedrooms.
Our sanctuary in the city. Having a home in the city without any windows peaking straight into a neighbor’s house is an uncommon privilege and we appreciated the privacy. Rooms on each level made it possible for both of us to have private work from home setups for those endless Zoom meetings.
What about summer BBQs? The spacious roof deck is one of our favorite hangout spots in this home. 360 degree views, including the Cascades, Salmon Bay Canal, Gasworks Park, Ballard Bridge, and Fremont Bridge! Perfect at-home viewing of the fireworks across the city and Christmas Ship Festival through the canal.
Modern, elegant style. Unique Hickory hardwood floors, floating stairs, and high-end finishes throughout the house.
Cook and entertain? Check. We love to cook and hang out with friends, family and this kitchen is perfect for both, simultaneously. Only to be topped by the walk-in pantry – especially useful when stocking up for the pandemic or a snowy day.
Location, location, location! Equidistant from all the food and fun in Queen Anne, SLU, Ballard, and Fremont downtowns. We loved our scenic walks around the neighborhood and Discovery Park (just minutes away!). Proximity to the Burke Gillman and Ship Canal trails were especially appreciated for our trail walks and bike rides. If you’re commuting to work, there’s easy access to South Lake Union, downtown Seattle, or 520 to hop on over to the Eastside.
Okay you get it. This place is awesome! So why are we selling?
Now that we’ve expanded our family with both a pandemic baby and puppy, we are looking for more space and trading in our city-living for more suburban grounds.
Neighborhood favorites not to be missed.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
- Byen Bakeri – neighborhood Nordic bakery. Best kringle in the city!
- Theo Chocolate – can’t walk within a few blocks of the factory without stopping in for a bar or two!
- Ship Canal Trail – lovely stroll along the water, where kayakers and hammockers intersect
- Storyville Coffee – best coffee in QA. Enjoy the cozy seating by the fireplace on cold rainy days
- How To Cook A Wolf – our favorite restaurant on the Avenue with delicious pastas and tasty Seawolf bread
- Grocery runs – PCC, Safeway, and Trader Joe’s are all minutes away!
- David Rogers Park – don’t miss the secret tennis courts
- SPU campus – a walk through the curated campus lawns is perfect to recharge the soul

The vehicle has a California license plate.
